Conclusion
From our experiment we found out why steel ship and steel nail sink. we learn what is density and what is buoyancy. In order to make metal float you have to make it in to a shape of a half hexagon, which most boat shape like it. One last thing, things can not float if there's no buoyancy.
Experiment
1)We put the bowl in to the bathtub that's full of water.
2)we put the steel nail in to the bathtub that's full of water.
Result:
-The bowl float because of the shape of the bowl, it can hold air so it floated.
-The steel nail sink because the nail can not hold air, so it sinked.
2)we put the steel nail in to the bathtub that's full of water.
Result:
-The bowl float because of the shape of the bowl, it can hold air so it floated.
-The steel nail sink because the nail can not hold air, so it sinked.
What is Density?
Density-expressed as a specific gravity or relative density. Density is a physical property of matter, as each element and compound has a unique density associated with it. Density defined in a qualitative manner as the measure of the relative "heaviness" of objects with a constant volume.
